Welcome to At a Gentle PACE
At a Gentle P.A.C.E. is a journal of reflection and the slow art of being human.
Through words and small practices, I explore what it means to slow down, listen inward, and move through life more gently.
P.A.C.E. stands for Pause, Attend, Connect, Exhale — a rhythm of awareness that invites us to live with presence, softness, and breath.
It’s a rhythm I return to — a reminder that healing doesn’t require hurry, and that the smallest moments of awareness can open something vast.
I’m Kathryn, a psychotherapist and longtime yoga teacher exploring how we find steadiness in motion and meaning in stillness.
I’ll use this blog to write about the intersections of therapy, embodiment, and slow living — what it means to move through life with care, to listen inward, and to trust the body’s own intelligence.
Each post is an invitation to slow down — to pause and notice what’s here, attend to what feels alive, connect within and around, and exhale into what’s real.
You’ll find personal reflections, small practices, and field notes from both therapy and life — reminders that we’re all learning, in our own ways, to move at a gentler pace.
